ELŻBIETA JÓŹWIK
A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. She has been living in Piaseczno since 2007 and professionally connected with Warsaw. She collaborated on building designs, including Librarie and the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw in Warsaw’s Powiśle, the Supreme Court at pl. Krasiński. Since 2004, he has been working at the Architecture and Construction Department of the Śródmieście District Office in Warsaw. In 2011, she returned to her former creative passion – drawing and painting by regularly participating in drawing and painting classes at the Cultural Center in Piaseczno. At that time, she worked independently on a series of drawings inspired by the Kielce Landscape School, in particular by the works of photographer Paweł Pierściński. She took part in the first edition of the Open Academy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in the academic year 2017/2018, as well as in plein-airs organized by dr hab. Joanna Trzcińska, lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, and Pracownia Słomczyn, founded by Aleksander Ryszka, assistant in the studio of prof. Stanisław Baj at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Currently, she creatively deals with drawing and painting techniques on a variety of topics – from landscapes, still life to the study of man.
